Your files

Once you close or refresh the tab, the file and any result are gone. I have no copy, no backup, and no way to retrieve it.

Information I do collect

PDF Toolkitdoes not require an account, so I don't collect names, emails, or passwords just to use the tools. The only personal data I handle is what you choose to give me:

• Contact form. If you email me or use the Contact page, I receive whatever name, email address, and message you submit, so I can reply. This is sent directly to me and is not added to a marketing list or shared with third parties.
• Basic technical logs.Like most web hosts, my infrastructure provider may automatically log standard technical data (such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) for security and reliability purposes. I don't use this to identify individuals or track behavior across sites.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

I show ads through Google AdSense to help keep the tools free. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses this data and manage your ad preferences at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.

I also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example, which tools are popular and how pages perform), so I can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect standard visit data such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser type. This data is aggregated and I don't use it to identify you personally. You can learn more about how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

When you first visit PDF Toolkit, a banner asks whether you accept these cookies. Ad and analytics cookies are only set after you accept, and you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

Third-party links

The site links out to third-party services such as Buy Me a Coffee for optional donations. Those services have their own privacy policies, and I encourage you to review them — I'm not responsible for how they handle your information.

Children's privacy

PDF Toolkit is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If I ever change how the tools work in a way that affects this policy (for example, adding a feature that requires uploading a file to a server), I will update this page and change the "last updated" date above.
