The service

PDF Toolkit provides free, browser-based tools for working with PDF files (such as merging, splitting, compressing, and converting). No account or sign-up is required. Files you process are not stored to my servers and immediately deleted after processing — see my Privacy Policy for details.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use PDF Toolkit to:

• Process files that you don't have the legal right to use or that infringe someone else's intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or the infrastructure behind it.
• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

Your content

You retain all rights to the files you process using these tools. I never receive, view, or store them, so I make no claim to them and take no responsibility for their content.

"As is" and no warranties

PDF Toolkitis provided free of charge, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I don't guarantee that the tools will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Because processing happens in your browser, results can vary depending on your device, browser, and the size or complexity of your files — always keep a backup of your original files before converting them.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDF Toolkit and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site — including loss of data, files, or business opportunities.

Third-party links and ads

The site displays ads (via Google AdSense) and may link to third-party services such as Buy Me a Coffee. I'm not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site.

Changes to the service or these terms

I may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
